The Role
Our client requires suitably qualified electricians for newly acquired projects. The successful electrician will join the Charger Installation/Maintenance Team. You will be adhering to procedures focused on producing the best quality service while being highly productive and mindful of costs. The successful candidate must be comfortable working in a challenging and dynamic environment and used to working on their own. The role is to fit and certify Electric Car Chargers in mainly domestic and small commercial premises. The successful candidate will gain full training and excellent exposure in this hugely exciting area. This position requires working from a home base.
Role Specific Duties:
- Commissioning Checks / Recording Procedure
- Pre-condition checks
- Charger Installation works – carrying out supplementary installs and covering customer appointments
- Cable fitting and termination procedures
- Customer liaison
- Site management to meet KPI requirements with a drive to surpass
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems while observing all statutory and legal requirements
- Run tests on electrical components to ensure a safe and effective installation
- Inspect electrical systems and equipment for any damage, malfunctions, and safety hazards
- Provide professional assessments and advice for customers
- Review maintenance work orders and ensure all requirements/preparations are fully undertaken before commencing work Fault finding and diagnosis
- Providing professional assessments and advice for customers
- Ensuring all accidents, incidents, near misses and non-conformances are fully reported
- Other duties as requested
The Candidate
- Qualified Electrician with Experience.
- Full Clean Driving License
- Able to work on own infinitive
- Capable to pre-plan works
- Proficient in use of PC and with experience in machine diagnostics/setup with laptop (An advantage)
- Must have valid QC Number
- Safe Pass
- Manual handling
- Experience with EV Chargers not essential but an advantage
- First Aid not essential but an advantage
