Job Title: Telecoms Surveyor
Location: Northern Ireland -field based
Salary: €35k -€40k + vehicle
Overview
Sparktel are currently recruiting for a Telecoms Surveyor to join our client. Our client who is a leading provider of technical design, build and maintenance solutions in the Telecoms Industry. The successful candidate will be field based working across Northern Ireland and reporting to the Project Manager.
Responsibilities
- Surveying of routes in order to validate design and identify any issues
- Identification of any potential project risks and proposal of solutions
- Developing reports for Project Managers, Clients and HSEQ Department,
- Recording all customer demand points and infrastructure access points
- Completion of site risk assessments
- Identification of wayleaves
- Managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Ensuring all Health and Safety policies are implanted and adhered to at all times
Experience Required
- 1+ years relevant experience as a Surveyor or similar
- Experience using QGIS or ArcGIS
- Strong knowledge of fibre networks and installation methods
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong IT Skills particularly MS Excel
- Ability and willingness to travel
- Full Clean Driving Licence
