Job Purpose:
You will report to the company CEO, taking ownership of the full lifecycle of a Bid/Tender. You will look to integrate across the leadership streams of each department to build expert led proposals. You will work with the leadership team to drive decision making around value propositions, strategy development and commercial risk management.
Experience
- Proven track record in delivering winning large commercial tenders
- Experienced in managing the full lifecycle of a bid from commercial, to HSEQ, to operational plan to key individual cvs etc.
- Sound commercial acumen
- Be familiar with ISO, Health & Safety and Industry standard accreditations.
- Ability to manage complex, opportunities.
- An ability to allocate key assignments to a range of internal stakeholders and influence cooperation from all contributors
- Strong writing skills to be able to construct high quality, complex narratives and convey complex ideas simply and clearly
- Previous exposure to contracts and an understanding of basic contract language
- An ability to interact with C level and executive leadership
Key Responsibilities:
- To manage the bid qualification for new opportunities.
- Manage virtual bid teams and inputs from a variety of stakeholders, typically involving contributions from sales, marketing, product teams, finance, commercial, legal and delivery.
- Preparing and reviewing the commercial aspects of the bid, ensuring all services are included in the final price to the customer.
- Provide potential and current clients with excellent customer service.
- Oversee all aspects of proposal preparation, ensuring quality, compelling bids are submitted in a timely manner.
- Arrange all post bid reviews with customers, post contract award.
- Negotiate and assist on bid pricing and submit pricing suggestions for review and approval.
