Our client is a long-established engineering firm based in Dublin. They currently operate across Ireland and the UK. A market leader for the past 30 years they design, build and maintain lifting equipment such as cranes, hoists, gantries etc. The company have an excellent name within the industry and currently work with 4 of the top 5 construction companies within Ireland as well as the leading Facilities Management outfit. Current growth levels are 10% year on year with an annual turnover of €8m.
Job summary:
This sales job is to promote, specify, develop and sell lifting, hoist and crane solutions. The Sales Operations Manager will be targeted to carry out project specification work with the engineering team and seek quotation opportunities. There is also an opportunity to sell maintenance, inspection and certification services.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for the continued growth and success of the sales team
- Completing daily and weekly reports and present performance against KPIs to the General Manager and Managing Director
- Liaising with the Workshop Manager to ensure timely delivery of products to customers
- Working with the Purchasing manager to make sure correct levels of stock are on hand
- Reviewing pricing on a weekly basis and adjust accordingly pertaining to any outside influences
- Developing projects and plans to ensure the continued growth of the sales team
- Coaching and development of all members of the sales team
- Resolving any customer issues arising from problems with orders
- Holding regular meetings with the sales team to present how team are performing against KPIs
- Skills and Competencies Required
- 4+ years’ technical sales experience
- Organised and driven individual
- IT Literate (Microsoft Suite)
- Full drivers’ licence
