Company Overview:
Sparktel have partnered with a leading Plant & Equipment Hire and Sales company. They provide services and solutions across a variety of industries from construction to events. They are going through a period of continued growth.
The Role:
Due to this continued growth, they are seeking to hire a Sales Representative to work in the Dublin region. This role will be both field and office based. This role is for a high-potential individual, capable of working in a growing area of the business. This person will essentially build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients to maximise the hire and sale of all heavy plant machinery and equipment available.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Working with medium to large site construction companies
- Developing an in-depth knowledge of the fleet
- Promoting, selling, and leasing of all equipment available
- Managing a large existing client portfolio
- Building relationships with new and existing clients
- Carrying out site and client visits to advise on plant machinery and equipment available
- Help develop marketing campaign's covering all the business’s products
- Assist the General Manager in the preparation of the annual Sales reporting
Skills and Competencies Required:
- 3+ years’ experience in field sales
- Sales experience in the construction, plant and tool hire industry
- Strong IT skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Organised, highly driven and self-motivated
