Job Title: Service Technician

Overview
Sparktel are currently recruiting for a Service Technician for our client based in Limerick. Our client is a major supplier of tools, equipment, and support services to a wide range of industries across the UK and Ireland. The Service Technician will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing a broad range of equipment from heavy-duty machinery such as generators and lifting equipment to smaller tools used in everyday trade work.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and report any equipment faults that could impact safety or performance
- Conduct regular checks and audits to maintain quality standards
- Service, maintain, and inspect a range of equipment in line with established procedures
- Carry out minor repairs and assist in sourcing parts when required
- Ensure warranty-related repairs are identified and reported appropriately
- Complete testing procedures before equipment is returned to service
- Accurately record all work using internal systems and documentation
- Follow damage reporting procedures and highlight any issues
- Ensure all equipment is cleaned and prepared to a high standard
Experience Required
- Experience in servicing or maintaining mechanical and/or electrical equipment
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Confidence using computer systems
