Summary of Role:
You will be responsible for managing the Streetworks and Noticing team as it supports the telecoms build division. You will ensure that the streetworks team best supports field operations, design specialists and the client as well as partnering with local authorities. You will be an enthusiastic, self-motivated and knowledgeable people manager with experience in all aspects of Street Works Noticing & Legislation.
What you will be responsible for?
- Manage and prioritize workload of the Streetworks team.
- Liaising with Field Managers to ensure all planned works is noticed or permits in place
- Liaison with Local Authorities and the client to ensure procedures are followed
- Reporting necessary information in order to establish progress, issues faced and remedial actions
- Liaise directly with the Client, attend regular project review meetings and address Client concerns
- Lead planning meetings with internal and external stakeholders to communicate the business on current and future projects
- Assessing cases relating to Penalty Charge Notices
- Implementing procedures to reduce delays, potential fines etc
- Lead and oversee Noticing Team
- Assist with training and onboarding of new Noticing Personnel
- Produce reports detailing compliance
- Attend forward planning and progress meetings with client and local authorities.
Skills and experience required:
- People and project managerial experience
- Excellent overall administration skills
- Previous experience of working within a scheduling department is an advantage but not necessary
- Good IT skills and capable of using MS Office
- Ambitious and willing to learn. We want someone who can develop into a manager in the future!
- Good communicator and must possess a good sense of humour!
