Job Title: Substation Electrician
Location: Glasgow, Scotland
Overview
Sparktel are currently recruiting for multiple highly experienced Substation Electricians for a well established client based in Scotland.
The successful candidates will be involved in the construction and upgrading of high voltage substations.
Experience Required
- 4+ years experience in the upgrade and construction of high voltage substations
- Cabling and installation of heavy industry cable containment systems.
- Glanding and terminating of Low Voltage
- Glanding and terminating of equipment and SCADA control cables
- Installation of HV Circuit Breakers, Transformers & Surge Arrestors
- Installation, Terminating and testing of HV busbar and bushing connections.
- Installation and testing of earthing systems.
